Hiring

Biospark Intellectual Property Law does not accept unsolicited resumes from search firms.

Biospark is seeking a patent agent with an advanced degree (preferably Ph.D.) in a biology or chemistry discipline and at least 2 years of experience in patent prosecution. The successful candidate will have drafted at least 12 patent applications and 30 office action responses.

The patent agent role entails working one-on-one with associates and partners as well as clients. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a diverse range of patent strategy, drafting, prosecution, and due diligence matters in a flexible, small firm environment.

Biospark’s team is mostly virtual and we will entertain resumes from any location in the continental U.S., with Eastern and Central time zones preferred.

We will consider candidates for both part-time and full-time positions.

Please submit resume, cover letter, salary requirements, desired billable hour targets, and writing samples to hiring@biospark-ip.com.

Not a patent agent but interested in working with Biospark? It’s not too early to start a dialog with us as will be hiring additional experienced patent professionals later in the year (including a patent paralegal, a practice manager and patent practitioners ranging from the technology specialist to counsel level). Please send us your resume, writing samples and a cover letter outlining your vision for your career.
